Junior League of Troy Members Tour CNSE Children’s Museum of Science and Technology, Formerly the ‘Junior Museum’ in Troy

Junior League of Troy members visited the GE Junior Discovery Room at the CNSE Children’s Museum of Science and Technology (CNSE-CMOST) on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. The Junior Discovery Room is named in recognition of the Junior League of Troy, which founded CNSE-CMOST as the Junior Museum in 1954.

The Junior League of Troy was founded over 80 years ago and makes significant impacts in our community including the founding of the Junior Museum (now CNSE-CMOST), numerous parent education campaigns, and ongoing support of efforts to improve the health and welfare of women and children. The Junior League is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
